تُعدُّ التربية الحجر الأساس في بناء المجتمعات، فهي الدعامة التي يُبنى عليها مستقبل المجتمعات، والأداة الرئيسة لنقل القيم والمهارات الضروريّة لتطوير الفرد وتشكيل شخصيّته وتأهيله للمشاركة الفعّالة في المجتمع، وهي الطريق نحو تحقيق التنمية المستدامة والشاملة. فالتربية هي عمليّة اجتماعيّة تسعى إلى إعداد الإنسان. فما هي هذه القيم والمهارات؟ وما دور التربية في تنميتها وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة وبناء مجتمعات متقدّمة ومترابطة؟
تُمثّل التربية المنظّمة والموجّهة أساسًا في بناء القيم الأخلاقيّة والاجتماعيّة، وتؤدّي دورًا حيويًّا في تنمية قيم الصدق والعدالة والاحترام والتعاون والمسؤوليّة لدى الفرد، ما يعزِّز التسامح والتعايش السلميّ في المجتمع. وتعزّز التربية اكتساب مهارات الاتّصال والتواصل، وحلّ المشكلات، واتّخاذ القرار، والتفكير الناقد الضروري للنجاح في الحياة الشخصيّة والمهنيّة، فمن خلال تنمية هذه القيم والمهارات تستطيع التربية أن تبني أفرادًا قادرين على الإسهام بفاعليّة في تقدّم المجتمع وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة ومواكبة تطوّرات القرن الحالي.
تشكّل التربية العمود الفقريّ لأيّ مجتمع يسعى نحو التقدّم والازدهار، فهي لا تقتصر على نقل المعرفة فحسب، بل تمتد لتشكيل القيم والأخلاق، وإعداد جيل قادر على الإسهام الفعّال في تنمية مجتمعه وتطويره. وتسهم التربية في تعميق الاندماج الاجتماعيّ وتقوية العلاقات بين أفراد المجتمع من خلال تدعيم الوعي بالتنوّع الثقافيّ والاحترام المتبادل، وتثبيت روح التعاون والتضامن بين الأفراد. فالتربية تعمل على توطيد الوعي والإدراك لدى الأفراد، ما يؤدّي إلى تحسين الظروف الاجتماعيّة والاقتصاديّة وتطوير المجتمع، وهي تؤدي دورًا مهمًّا في تعزيز المساواة وتمكين الأفراد في المجتمع حيث تمنح الفرصة لكل فرد لتحقيق طموحاته وإسهامه في بناء مجتمع عادل ومتكافئ.
ممّا لا شكّ فيه أنّ التربية والتعليم يعدّان محرّكين أساسيّين في عمليّة تغيير المجتمعات وتطوُّرها، وهذا ما أكّد عليه جان جاك روسو في أنّ “التربية والتعليم صنوان لا يفترقان، فلا تعليم جيّد دون تربية جيّدة”. فالتعليم هو أحد أهمّ محرّكات النموّ الاقتصاديّ حيث يُمكّن الأفراد من العمل بكفاءة أعلى، ويُسهم في خلق فرص عمل مستدامة، ما يُساعد على تحقيق الازدهار الاقتصاديّ، كما يُقلّل من معدّلات الجرائم والعنف المجتمعي من خلال تعزيز الوعي بالقوانين والأخلاق، وتحفيز الأفراد على اتّخاذ قرارات صائبة. ويعمل التعليم على تعزيز مهارات التعاون والعمل الجماعيّ من خلال تنظيم الأنشطة التعليميّة التي تتطلّب التفاعل والتعاون بين المتعلّمين. حيث يتعلَّم المتعلّم كيفيّة العمل ضمن فرق متنوّعة لتحقيق أهداف مشتركة، كما يتعلّم الطلّاب من خلال تجارب بعضهم. بالإضافة إلى ذلك تعمل هذه المهارات بدورها على تجهيز الأفراد للمشاركة بفعاليّة في المجتمع وسوق العمل، حيث يكون التواصل والتعاون أساسيّان لتحقيق النجاح. فالعمليّة التعليميّة تساعد في تطوير القدرة على تقييم المعلومات على نحو منطقيّ، وتحليل الأفكار بعمق، واستنتاج النتائج بناء على أدلّة قويّة، وتطوير القدرة على تقديم الحجج المقنّعة، لذا فالتعليم يعزّز القدرة على التمييز بين الأفكار الجيّدة والسيئة، والفهم العميق للموضوعات، ما يُسهم في تطوير مواطن التفكير الناقد والمستقلّ. أضف إلى ذلك التعليم يُساعد في تطوير مهارات التواصل اللفظيّ وغير اللفظيّ، وفي زيادة القدرة على التعبير عن الأفكار والشعور بوضوح وبفعاليّة. كما يُشجّع على فهم واحترام وجهات النظر المختلفة وتعميق مهارات الاستماع الفعّال للآخرين. كما أنّ تعليم الأفراد كيفية البحث عن المعلومات، وتقييمها على وجه نقديّ، وفلترتها لتحديد مدى صحّتها وموثوقيّتها، يُعدُّ أساسيًّا في عصر المعرفة الرقميّة. و يسعى التعليم إلى محو الأمّيّة المعلوماتيّة من خلال تمكين المتعلّمين من فهم كيفيّة استخدام التكنولوجيا بفعاليّة للتعلّم والعمل، وكيفيّة التعبير عن أنفسهم بفعاليّة عبر الوسائط الرقميّة. كما يُسهم أيضًا في تحسين مهارات البحث عبر الإنترنت، والتواصل الاجتماعيّ على وجه آمن ومسؤول، وإنتاج محتوى رقميّ بجودة عالية.
وبناءً على ما سبق، إنّ التربية هي الركيزة الرئيسة في بناء المجتمعات، لذا يجب أن تكون جهود تعزيزها وتطويرها على رأس أولوّيات الأنظمة التعليميّة والاجتماعيّة، من خلال توفير بيئة تربويّة مناسبة وبرامج تعليميّة متكاملة تسعى إلى تحقيق النموّ للمجتمعات. فعلى الدّول والمؤسّسات الاستثمار في التربية وتطويرها لضمان إعداد جيل واعٍ ومسؤول يُسهم في رفعة وتقدُّم مجتمعه. ولكن هل تستطيع التربية تنمية مهارات الفرد في ظل التحديات الرقميّة؟

It is also considered the main tool for transferring values and skills necessary for the individual’s development, personality formation, and qualification for effective participation in society. It is the path towards sustainable and inclusive development. Education is a social process that seeks to prepare man for life. So, what are these values and skills, and what role education plays in their development? How can education help maintain sustainable development and build advanced and interdependent societies? Organized and targeted education plays a crucial role in developing moral and social values and plays a vital role in the development of the values of honesty, justice, respect, cooperation, and responsibility of the individual, thus promoting tolerance and peaceful coexistence in society. Education also promotes the acquisition of communication and communication skills, problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking necessary for success in personal and professional life. By developing these values and skills, education can prepare individuals capable of effectively contributing to society’s progress, achieving sustainable development, and keeping pace with the developments of the current century. Education is the backbone of any society that seeks progress and prosperity. It not only transfers knowledge, but also extends to shape values and ethics, and it prepares a generation capable of contributing effectively to the progress and development of its society. Moreover, education contributes to deepening social integration and strengthening relations among members of society by fostering awareness of cultural diversity and mutual respect and establishing a spirit of cooperation and solidarity among individuals. Good learning can’t be achieved without good education. Education is one of the most important key elements of economic growth, enabling people to work more efficiently, contributing to sustainable job creation, helping to achieve economic prosperity, reducing crime and societal violence through promoting awareness of laws and ethics, and motivating individuals to make good decisions. In addition, education promotes collaboration and teamwork skills by organizing educational activities that require interaction and collaboration among learners. The learner learns how to work in diverse teams to achieve common goals, and students learn through each other’s experiences. In addition, these skills equip individuals to participate effectively in society and the labor market, where communication and collaboration are essential for success. The educational process helps develop the ability to assess information logically, analyze ideas in depth, conclude results based on strong evidence, and develop the ability to make compelling arguments, so education enhances the ability to differentiate between good and bad ideas, and a deep understanding of subjects, which contributes to the development of critical and independent thinking. Education also helps develop verbal and non-verbal communication skills and increases the ability to express ideas and feel clearly and effectively. It is also encouraged to understand and respect different perspectives and to deepen others’ effective listening skills. Teaching individuals how to search for information, critically evaluate it, and filter it to determine its authenticity and reliability is essential in the age of digital knowledge. Education seeks to erase information literacy by enabling learners to understand how to use technology effectively for learning and working, and how to express themselves effectively through digital media. It also contributes to improving online search skills, safe and responsible social communication, and the production of high-quality digital content. Based on the foregoing, education is the main pillar in building societies, so efforts to strengthen and develop them must be the top priority of educational and social systems, through the provision of an appropriate educational environment and integrated educational programs that strive for the development of societies.
